Ms. Debra Kennaugh, P.E

For over 25 years, Ms. Debra Kennaugh, P.E., has worked in traffic engineering, performing everything from initial traffic studies to final plan creation. She has extensive experience with numerous pieces of CAD and traffic engineering software, including Highway Capacity Software and Transyt-7F. Ms. Kennaugh has generated countless traffic studies, including safety studies, access management studies, traffic effect analysis, and studies on pedestrian safety/design, bicycle safety/design, media design, and traffic calming methods. Her portfolio includes small commercial complexes and massive interstate interchanges, demonstrating her versatility as a sign and pavement marking, signalization, and lighting plan designer.
Ms. Debra A. Kennaugh has worked in the public and commercial sectors. She spent roughly half her career as a senior traffic engineer for Parsons Brinckerhoff. One of her initiatives was the contract for Access Management in a district-wide area, which included the Downtown Interchange at I-275 and I-4. She also spent considerable time in her career working for the state of Florida's DOT. The Traffic Operations team and the Traffic Design team employed her. Her duties included overseeing traffic design projects and safety improvement initiatives.
She heads the Tampa, Florida-based company Crossroads Engineering Inc. as president and chief traffic engineer. The University of South Florida awarded her a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, and she is a qualified civil engineer in Florida.
