Overview

This course discusses light nonaqueous phase liquids and their affect on ground-water quality at many sites across the country.

Credit: 3 PDH
Instructor: William Rosado, PE, PMP

In this three hour course, the engineer will learn about light nonaqueous phase liquids and their affect on ground-water quality at
many sites across the country. The most common LNAPL-
related ground-water contamination problems result from the
release of petroleum products. These products are typically
multicomponent organic mixtures composed of chemicals with varying degrees of water solubility. In general, LNAPLs represent potential long-term sources for continued ground-water contamination in many sites.
